Established in 2014, Out The Box is a pioneering organisation dedicated to equipping Black creatives, entrepreneurs, and professionals with the industry opportunities, skills, and connections they need to thrive. With a growing community of over 5,000 members, we provide access to career and business development programmes, business clinics, mentorship, and digital resources that empower our network at every stage of their journey. Through over 60 events, workshops, and webinars, we have created spaces for learning, conversation, community, collaboration, and meaningful industry connections. As a consultant and advocate for equity within creative and professional industries, we work to address inclusion, opportunity, and employment gaps. This includes supporting Black professionals navigating workplace challenges, advocating for fairer career progression, and partnering with organisations to improve workplace culture, policies, and leadership representation. Through our Black at Work strand, we deliver training and community spaces centred on healing and social justice for professionals navigating corporate environments. Our flagship event, Healing Workplace Trauma, brings together facilitators, practitioners, and brand partners to create space for reflection, recovery, and practical tools — supporting Black professionals to thrive at work without compromising their wellbeing.
