Appointed Head of BBC Radio 1Xtra in 2020, Faron led the station through a transformative four-year period, overseeing its strategic direction and championing its mission to amplify Black music and culture. In September 2024, Faron was appointed Partnership Lead at the BBC, where he now oversees strategic content collaborations across radio and television. Faron also serves on the West Midlands Combined Authority Mayor's Growth Taskforce, contributing to the development and sustainability of the region's creative industry.
