She joined from Silicon Valley Bank where she was an MD in Venture Capital Relationship team and Head of New and Strategic Channels. She was a member of the Senior leadership team and established the fintech warehouse financing business. Prior to SVB, Folake led Structured Finance solutions at Credit Suisse, NatWest Markets and AFME.Folake is a leader in the Innovation economy ecosystem, developed schemes to provide capital, knowledge and networks to overlooked founders and has fostered relationships across investors, ecosystems builders, tech corporates and government.Folake is passionate about entrepreneurship and propelling the startup ecosystem for the global African diaspora. She was a board advisor of Lagos Tigers Football club and founding member of Investment Eight, an female led angel syndicate.She holds a Postgraduate Financial Mathematics from Bayes Business School and a Bachelors in Computers Systems Engineering from City, University of London.
