A 64-year-old retired Senior Executive and Current Board Member. A keen golfer who enjoys travel, reading and fitness training. I live in Woodhall Spa with my wife Sally a therapist. I have a son who is a Consultant Surgeon at the John Radcliffe in Oxford and two grandchildren. I am an alumnus of Oxford and Imperial College.
Having worked in the corporate world for 25 years I have transitioned to a portfolio board career to continue to bring my experience and passion to support businesses and people.
I am an Independent Non-Executive Director on the CSL (Chaucer Syndicates Ltd) Board. CSL is a global speciality (re) insurance group. I am also a member of the Audit Committee, Risk and Capital Committee and Remuneration and Nominations Committee. Chaucer were looking for a Board member with a technology background.
As an ex Managing Director within the Operations function of Accenture UK and Ireland. A client account lead and delivery specialist with many years' experience of delivering and leading complex multi-geography IT transformations and outsourcing programs. I joined Accenture in 2007, during my time with Accenture I have undertaken a number of cross geography assignments including the USA, Brazil and Mauritius, which has allowed me to develop a deep cross-cultural understanding. I am a retired Military Officer with a strong inclusive and authentic leadership style which has helped in supporting and developing business, clients and people.

I have worked with numerous strategy teams using Agile methods to define digital approaches, articulate value of rotation to digital. Innovation approaches and understanding the need to look at the end user experience and consumption of data.
I have actively sponsored the building of diverse and inclusive teams that will take a disruptive approach to improve systems, processes and define the change journeys that will benefit the end user.
