April is an award-winning Barrister, TEDx speaker and advocacy trainer at The Honourable Society of Middle Temple, specialising in personal injury and criminal law. Beginning her legal studies in Dublin, Ireland, April successfully navigated the transition to English law having been called to the Bar of England and Wales in 2022. Recently appointed to the Bar Council’s Young Barristers’ Committee, April actively represents the interests of the junior Bar. April is also the founder of ‘Life Lessons from a Lawyer’, a growing online platform and business with a community of over 40,000 followers, through which she makes the law accessible by sharing legal insights and practical life lessons. Her passion for advocacy and social justice has led to her delivering keynote speeches on international stages and attending the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW70).
