Atreka Cameron is a Jamaican-born chef and founder of All Nations Vegan House in Hackney. After moving to London in 2001, she faced immigration struggles for 15 years while raising seven sons and pursuing her passion for food. A fibroid diagnosis sparked her transition to a plant-based lifestyle, transforming her health and inspiring her vegan culinary journey. Despite challenges including dyslexia, Atreka built a thriving community restaurant rooted in Ital tradition, Caribbean flavours, and holistic wellness. Her story is one of resilience, creativity, and purpose, proving that lived experience, not paperwork, can be the most powerful qualification of all.
