Ayomide Akin
Ayomide Akin is a senior growth and product leader with over a decade of experience building, launching, and scaling digital platforms across the UK and US. She is currently a Growth Strategy Director at Accenture Song, where she leads complex product initiatives at the intersection of strategy, design, data, and engineering.
Ayomide specialises in translating emerging technologies into enterprise ready products that deliver measurable commercial and user impact. Her work spans mobile first platforms, analytics and data products, and generative AI, with a consistent focus on moving organisations from experimentation to scaled adoption. She is known for bridging technical teams and executive stakeholders, shaping investment decisions, operating models, and roadmaps that enable sustainable innovation.
A defining chapter of Ayomide’s career was her role as Venture Lead for Mobolise, a partner venture between MOBO Group and Accenture. Mobolise is a B2B and B2C marketplace platform designed to connect minority talent with opportunities across the creative and technology sectors. Ayomide built and led an 18 person, globally distributed team spanning product, engineering, design, research, and commercial functions. She took the platform from inception to launch, owning the product vision, roadmap, operating model, and P&L. She led pricing and go-to-market strategy and secured early partnerships with organisations including NBCUniversal, HSBC, Salesforce, and Superdry, positioning the venture for £1.5m in projected first-year revenue.
After relocating to New York, Ayomide played a leadership role in the launch of Fortune Analytics, a strategic partnership between Accenture and Fortune. One of Accenture’s earliest generative AI projects, Fortune Analytics transforms complex proprietary data into real time insights for senior leaders. The platform set an early benchmark for GenAI adoption and was recognised by the iF Design Award for excellence in product design and user experience.
In her role now, Ayomide is the North America Financial Services Business Development Lead for Design & Digital Products, driving growth across banking, capital markets, and insurance. She leads a team of senior leaders to originate, structure, and close complex, experience led opportunities, managing a $300M+ pipeline.
Work outside of my main role
Alongside her consulting career, Ayomide is building a new venture focused on wine, culture, and community. She is WSET Level 2 qualified in wine (with Merit) and designs and hosts curated wine education experiences that combine structured learning with storytelling and inclusive community building.
Her work centres on demystifying wine education and making traditionally exclusive spaces more accessible to new audiences. Through guided tastings and bespoke experiences for small groups and organisations, Ayomide applies the same principles she uses in product and experience design around clear structure, thoughtful facilitation, and user-centred storytelling.
Ayomide collaborates with venues, brands, and corporate partners to deliver tailored wine education sessions, often connecting wine to broader themes such as heritage, craftsmanship, and identity. This work reflects her wider interest in how well designed experiences, whether digital or physical, can foster connection, curiosity, and belonging.
