Batsho Nthoi
Batsho Nthoi is a Managing Associate in Addleshaw Goddard’s Asset Based Lending & Trade team, spearheading the firm’s trade and commodities finance strategy. Born and raised in Botswana, he studied law and politics at the University of Botswana before completing an LLM in International Financial Law at King’s College London as a Chevening Scholar.
Batsho began his career as a journalist, winning awards for covering youth, gender, and children's issues, before qualifying as a lawyer in 2006. He has chaired the Botswana National Youth Council and served as Africa Coordinator for the Commonwealth Youth Caucus.
He has worked in private practice and at Standard Chartered across Botswana, South Africa, and London. He joined Addleshaw Goddard in 2022. He is passionate about mentoring and coaching future leaders.
