Ben Nduva

Director for Consulting Services, CGI

Ben Nduva is an experienced, driven business leader with a strong track record in commercial and delivery roles spanning UK central government, utilities and telecommunications. He began his career after completing an IT degree at Bournemouth University, taking on a series of technical delivery positions that built a deep understanding of how complex systems are designed, implemented and operated. That grounding later enabled a shift into consulting—fulfilling a long-held ambition to help organisations turn the potential of technology into measurable outcomes aligned to business goals.

Ben currently works as Director for Consulting Services at CGI, where he is responsible for delivering core services that support critical national infrastructure in the public sector. His work helps strengthen the resilience and security of essential services, contributing to the UK’s energy security and wider national priorities. Across previous roles in the utilities and telecommunications sectors, Ben has led and delivered initiatives focused on large-scale transformation and service improvement—bringing together stakeholders, simplifying delivery complexity and ensuring that change is supported and sustained.

His experience includes transformational work to increase the capacity and flexibility of infrastructure supporting Freeview in the UK, as well as market-wide improvements to the customer switching process for retail and commercial energy users. These programmes required not only technical insight, but also commercial judgement, user focus and an ability to build trust across diverse organisations.

During his tenure at Ordnance Survey as Head of Utilities, Ben established an initiative to address safety concerns and unlock collaboration opportunities in underground asset maintenance. That early work has since grown into the National Underground Asset Register (NUAR): a centralised system for storing and sharing information on underground assets from more than 600 asset owners across the UK. NUAR reduces the time needed to gather location data—from sourcing information from typically 8–10 organisations to a single access point—while lowering the risk of accidental asset strikes and enabling the potential for better coordination of infrastructure works, reducing cost and disruption to the public.

Ben remains committed to creating and delivering opportunities for transformational change across government and public services—improving access to information, strengthening decision-making and supporting sustainable economic growth.
