Brian Bob-Jones

Senior Business Architect & Technology Business Partner, PwC

Brian Bob-Jones is a TOGAF-certified Senior Business Architect and Technology Business Partner at PwC UK, where he leads technology demand for the Tax Line of Service. With over two decades of experience in the Software Delivery Lifecycle and a strong foundation in Design Thinking, he has consistently delivered strategic digital transformation initiatives that align technological advancement with business goals. His career represents a fusion of technical excellence, inclusive leadership, and purposeful innovation, shaping the future of technology while advancing representation across the industry.

Within PwC’s Tech Catalyst community, Brian serves as a vital link between business and technology, driving automation, accelerating go-to-market propositions, and promoting the reuse of digital assets. His leadership has achieved significant departmental and firmwide outcomes, including £350K in cost savings through technology asset rationalisation and an 85% reduction in manual data entry errors within Tax Compliance Services.

As Design Thinking Lead, he directed the migration of more than 850 legacy databases to SaaS platforms and oversaw a data centre exit programme that reduced IT operational costs by 30%.

In addition to his technical expertise, Brian is a prominent advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion. Since July 2024, he has served as Chair of the PwC UK Black Network, leading with integrity, empathy, and strategic vision. Building on earlier roles as Deputy Co-Chair and member of the Staff Diversity Council (2020–2024), he has guided the Network’s growth and alignment with PwC’s broader values of inclusion and belonging.

Under his leadership, the Network has grown to over 1,200 members and delivered high-impact programmes with organisations including 1000BlackBoys, Motivez, 10000 Black Interns, and UKBlackTech. Brian also led the 2024 Black History Month programme, hosting a flagship event highlighting research into Hydroxyurea and Sickle Cell Disease in partnership with NHS England, alongside a firmwide blood donation drive addressing the need for Black heritage donors. For these achievements, he received the PwC Black Network’s Black Excellence Award for Leadership in Action, 2025.

Brian also helped establish the annual Business & Technology Insights Day for Schools, part of PwC’s One Firm One Day initiative, now in its third year. The programme offers underrepresented students early exposure to technology and professional services.

Beyond PwC, Brian is a School Governor and community advocate. A Master Scuba Diver, cyclist, football supporter, DJ, traveller, and chess enthusiast, he exemplifies curiosity and balance.
