Chenelle Ansah is an award-winning investor, business consultant, and board advisor recognised by Innovate Finance, Innovate UK, and Brummell Magazine for her leadership in investing, fintech and inclusion. Featured in Forbes, BBC, and The Sunday Times, she champions economic empowerment and equitable access to capital for underrepresented founders.
With nearly two decades of experience in financial services and technology across four continents, Chenelle has built and scaled digital banks including Nomo, Tandem, and Zopa. A former investment banker turned management consultant and investor, she became a Partner at Cornerstone Partners, the UK’s first Black-owned startup investment firm, and now backs climate-tech and fintech ventures across the UK and Africa.
She currently serves as Chair of the Investment Committee at Crisis Venture Studio, and as a Board Advisor to Village Capital’s Greentech Programme, alongside mentoring and advising global initiatives that advance diverse entrepreneurship.
