Chris Gorman is Vice President of Talent Acquisition at Block, the global technology company behind Square, Cash App, Afterpay, and TIDAL. Over his 13 years with Block, he has led across a range of strategic areas, including Corporate Real Estate & Workplace and serving as Head of People for Block’s Cash App division.

Chris is passionate about building inclusive, high-performing cultures and is an active sponsor of emerging talent. He currently serves as executive sponsor for Block’s PRIDE community (LGBTQ+ affinity group), championing representation and equity across the organisation.

He also completed the UC Berkeley CHRO program co-led by Laszlo Bock, deepening his expertise in shaping people strategy at scale.
