David is an entrepreneur, investor and brand builder focused on consumer businesses that help people eat better, drink better and live better. He is the Founder and General Partner of Aiye Growth Ventures, a platform building and backing purpose-driven consumer brands. Its businesses include Mustard Seed Consumer Fund I, the UK’s first Black-led, consumer-only venture capital fund investing across food and beverage, beauty and wellness, and Azari Brands Group, a venture builder partnering with creators and cultural figures to build commercially successful brands. David has built, scaled and sold businesses across music, entertainment and consumer products, including a music business acquired by Warner Music. His career spans roles at MTV, Kobalt Music and HIT Entertainment. Through his investment and venture-building work, he has helped brands generate millions in revenue and products listed in thousands of stores globally.
