Dr I. Stephanie Boyce CBE FKC is an award-winning solicitor, leadership advisor and one of the most influential voices in the legal profession. In 2021, she made history as the first person of colour, the first Black person and only the sixth woman to become President of the Law Society of England and Wales in its 200-year history, representing over 200,000 solicitors across England and Wales. Awarded a CBE in the King’s New Year Honours, Stephanie is widely recognised for her leadership, advocacy and commitment to social mobility and inclusion. She also serves as Chair of The Solicitors’ Charity. First generation British, raised in a working-class household, Stephanie’s journey from a state school education and repeated barriers to qualification to the highest office in the legal profession has inspired audiences around the world.
