Edwin Appiah is an early-stage investor, board member, and former Coutts International Banker, where he advised more than a hundred owner-managed businesses across the UK, Europe, and the Americas.

He’s a founding General Partner at Cornerstone VC and also sits on the investment committee for Imperial College’s Enterprise Fund. He represents Cornerstone on the Development Bank of Wales Investment Forum, which supports businesses rooted or relocating to Wales.

Edwin is an active angel investor and co-founded the Cornerstone Partners Angel Network, one of the UK’s first syndicates focused on backing diverse founding teams. Today, he leads Cornerstone VC’s new investments and works closely with their portfolio companies.

One of his standout investments includes Definely, an AI contract drafting solution that recently closed a $30 million Series B round.
