Gary Shearman is the Chief Procurement Officer, UK, HSBC. He is responsible for the end-to-end strategy and execution of the procurement lifecycle, sourcing, third party management and procurement operations. The role covers all Categories of spend with a portfolio of c$4.8bn of third party spend across 1500 Suppliers. He has a large focus on ESG across the supply chain, ensuring there is a diverse, ethical and sustainable client base, driving best practices, and getting closer to customers by raising the importance of good procurement practices.
