George Imafidon MBE is a humanitarian engineer and social entrepreneur. He is the CEO of Motivez, an award-winning platform that empowers underrepresented students and graduates aged 14-25 to secure competitive STEM jobs and become change-makers through their grassroots, employability, and advocacy programmes. Since its founding, Motivez has inspired millions through its campaigns, directly supported over 13,500 young people into entry-level STEM jobs, and received support from influential figures such as Idris Elba, Beyoncé and the Royal Family. He is also a Race Engineer in Sir Lewis Hamilton’s electric racing team, Team X44 and a Vice Chair of The Co-op Foundation where he has distributed over £12 million to expand youth opportunities and representation in STEM. His career spans companies like Google, McKinsey and Rolls-Royce where he redesigned a jet-engine component and saved them over £50 million. His contributions earned him the Young Engineer of the Year Award 2022/23 from the Royal Academy of Engineering, the 2022 Extreme E Championship and an MBE in the 2023 King's Birthday List for services to young people, engineering and technology. His work has been featured in multiple outlets such as The Times, ITV, Evening Standard and the BBC.
