Jackson Mclarty is the founder of Black Eats LDN, the UK’s leading food & culture platform spotlighting over 500 Black-owned restaurants, chefs, and food businesses across London.

Driven by his early experiences living in Jamaica, and by the differential in authenticity he saw in Black food in the UK, Jackson established Black Eats LDN in 2020 as a means to elevate voices, promote high-quality cuisine, and help businesses often overlooked in mainstream food culture.

Beyond running the directory, Jackson also leads Black Eats Fest, collaborates with major festivals and corporations, and leverages his platform to ensure that Black culinary culture is not only seen, but experienced and appreciated.
