Jagdeep has been with HSBC since August 2019 and is currently Managing Director and UK Client Coverage Head for the SME Business Banking Business. 

Before joining HSBC, Jagdeep spent a lengthy career at Barclays Bank, having joined in the late 1990’s onto the Graduate programme after completing a Law Degree. She is an experienced and dynamic leader, with a reputation for driving sustainable growth through core principles of strong people engagement and focused customer centric activity and by making a positive impact in local communities. 

Jagdeep feels strongly about the gender and multicultural diversity agendas, in particular the  development of females and BAME individuals into senior positions, as well as supporting the  development and growth of young adults. She is also passionate about the female entrepreneurship agenda and has initiated and led market leading initiatives in this area.
