Joey Antwi-Kusi
Joey is a multi-unit McDonald's franchisee whose career is a story of bold reinvention. He began on the front line in customer care, developing an early instinct for service, operations and people. From there he moved into financial services, spending over a decade leading major projects across retail banking and consulting before making a bold pivot into entrepreneurship. He became a McDonald's franchisee at the age of 35, among the younger operators to take on the role. Today, Joey leads a team of more than 300 people across restaurants that serve thousands of customers every day, with a focus on strategic growth and a long-term ambition to expand across the African continent. He champions inclusive leadership and creates pathways for young people through career development initiatives and community programmes.
