Head of Communications for PwC UK's Tech Catalyst Business, PwC

As Head of Communications for PwC UK’s Tech Catalyst business, I am driven by a deep belief in the power of representation and the importance of creating opportunities for all. My journey in tech has been shaped by a commitment to amplifying diverse voices, breaking barriers, and inspiring others to see themselves as leaders and innovators.

Pioneering the Black Tech Talent agenda at PwC, I launched our most successful long-term LinkedIn Livestream series. Designed to showcase Black tech representation and inspire all generations, the series has reached over 22,000 views and achieved an 82% retention rate. Seeing participants progress to Director and Partner roles is a testament to the impact of creating visible role models and platforms for authentic storytelling. Establishing a firmwide PwC Black Tech Talent Network has helped build a sustainable pipeline of Black talent, ensuring that inclusion is woven into the fabric of our strategy.

My work extends beyond PwC, as I actively collaborate with industry partners to drive systemic change. I am proud to be involved with the Cambridge Wireless Black Tech Forum, where I regularly contribute to roundtable discussions focused on attracting and recruiting Black talent into STEM careers. Sharing insights and best practices, I help shape industry standards and encourage organisations to build more diverse teams.

Securing PwC’s sponsorship of the UK Black Tech Achievement Awards, with five shortlistings including ‘Employer of the Year’, and leading our presence at events like Black Tech Fest, I have raised our profile and attracted prospective candidates from a wide range of backgrounds. These partnerships and events are not just milestones, they are catalysts for broader industry transformation.

As producer of PwC’s Talking Tech livestream, I brought together over 5,000 technologists, delivering engaging content and record-breaking specials such as GenAI episodes with nearly 5,000 live viewers. My focus was on fostering genuine connection and dialogue within our tech community.

A career highlight was serving in the exec office, supporting the former Exec Board Member for Technology at PwC UK. This experience gave me invaluable insight into strategic decision-making and the delivery of firmwide technology initiatives and crucially, enabled me to raise the profile of Black technologists at the highest levels of the organisation.

Leading the Change and Communications Workstream for PwC UK’s largest technology transformation programme, impacting 25,000 staff, I designed and executed campaigns that ensured widespread adoption and alignment.

I am passionate about making a difference -driving impact, inspiring others, and building a more inclusive tech industry for the future.
