Mayowa is a multi-award-winning writer, host and public speaker. His work includes serving as Head of Brand at publisher VERSUS and hosting culturally significant interviews with figures like Colin Kaepernick, Lewis Hamilton, Moses Itauma and others. Mayowa has led the charge in revolutionising European media coverage within sports by highlighting the importance of recognising athletes as human beings with diverse interests and connecting the links between sport and wider culture. A South London native of Nigerian descent, his passion stems from broadcasting the power of lived experiences and the beauty they bring. He is also a board member of both the Sports Journalism Association and the Black Collective of Media in Sport.
