Melina is a seasoned Accountant with a decade of experience in finance, having worked across a diverse range of sectors including Marketing, Pharmaceuticals, Private Healthcare, and Events. She is dedicated to driving financial excellence and strategic growth within organisations.

Melina’s commitment to meaningful change was sparked during her tenure at BUPA amid the Black Lives Matter movement. Recognizing the need for systemic change, she took the initiative to lead several Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) initiatives. By challenging existing norms and advocating for progressive policies, she played a pivotal role in encouraging leadership to embrace a more inclusive and equitable workplace. 

Today, Melina is instrumental in shaping the strategic development of the UK Black Business Week & Show, guiding its direction and scale, and ensuring the financial sustainability and growth of the venture year after year.
