Michelle is the Head of Responsible Investment & Strategy Execution, Alternatives at HSBC Asset Management. She has over 20 years of experience working in financial services in London, Hong Kong, and Toronto. Michelle returned to HSBC Asset Management in 2020 and was the Interim Head of Responsible Investment before joining the Alternatives business. During her previous six plus years with HSBC Global Asset Management in Hong Kong, she held a number of roles including Head of Strategy, Asia Pacific and Head of Multimanager, Asia Pacific & Emerging Markets, where she was responsible for management of the Asia Pacific and Global Emerging Markets team and products. She holds a Master in Business Administration from Columbia University, London Business School and University of Hong Kong, and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biochemistry from Queen’s University.
