Oden is a Communications and Engagement Lead at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. Before joining the Civil Service, he spent more than a decade in advertising and communications, working across global agency networks including Publicis, Omnicom, Havas and Dentsu. During that time, he worked alongside teams supporting major brands including Coca-Cola, Samsung, Aston Martin and Mars, helping bring together people, ideas and partnerships to deliver impactful work. In 2024, his team was recognised as Campaign’s Global Business Developers of the Year for contributions to business growth and relationship building. He is passionate about social mobility and career development, Oden enjoys helping people identify their strengths, tell their story with confidence and navigate career transitions successfully.
