Piers Linney MBE
Piers Linney MBE is a high-profile entrepreneur, investor, and former Dragon on BBC's prime-time show Dragons' Den (Shark Tank). With a background in venture capital law and M&A investment banking at Credit Suisse, he has established himself as a prominent figure in the UK business world.
He has sat on the board of Nesta, the UK's largest innovation foundation (£600m), and British Business Bank during the roll-out of £90bn of Covid support. Piers is Chairman and Co-Founder of Atherton Bikes, a world-leading manufacturer of additive manufactured mountain bikes, which took 1st and 2nd place at the World Championships in 2023.
He is also Co-Founder of Implement AI, a leading provider of digital worker solutions to organisations of all sizes. Implement AI was voted 'AI Startup of the Year – London' at the UK Startup Awards 2025. Piers was awarded an MBE by HM The King in 2026 for services to small business, entrepreneurship, investment, banking, diversity, and social mobility.
