Richard is a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) professional, consultant, and thought leader at The Equal Group. Richard has dedicated his career to advancing equity in workplaces and communities, beginning with confounding Serco’s first ERG for race and ethnicity (Serco Embrace), a pivotal platform for underrepresented voices.

Richard’s work is grounded in the belief that inclusion is not only a moral imperative but also a catalyst for innovation, growth, and stronger leadership. With a background that bridges corporate spaces and grassroots initiatives, he helps organisations build cultures that empower people to thrive authentically.

He serves as a judge for the Black Talent Awards, recognising and championing excellence across industries. He is also a writer and commentator on issues of equity, leadership, masculinity, and purpose driven work.
