RoseMary Buahin is a multi-award-winning strategic marketing leader with over 20 years’ experience in the videogames industry. She has held senior roles at Sony PlayStation, Warner Bros, and currently leads Xbox Marketing for Northern Europe at Microsoft. Her career is marked by landmark campaigns for titles and platforms including Xbox Series X|S, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & 7, Forza Horizon 5, Halo Infinite, Uncharted 4, The Last of Us, PlayStation 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, Batman Arkham City, and the LEGO games.

As the Xbox Northern Europe Marketing Lead, Rose drives strategic partnerships and omnichannel campaigns for Xbox consoles, Game Pass, and accessories, blending data-driven insights with cultural relevance to reach millions of gamers. Her influence extends beyond marketing metrics as she is a visible advocate for diversity and inclusion, leading allyship programmes, contributing to corporate D&I strategies, and speaking on panels that challenge stereotypes and open doors for underrepresented talent. Rose believes inclusion is a catalyst for innovation.

Community engagement is also central to her story as Rose mentors emerging professionals through industry networks, college and university programs, grassroots initiatives, supporting programmes that spotlight Black excellence and participating in events such as Black in Sport, Melanin Gamers Masterclass, and Black Girl Gamers Game Pad to name a few. Whether through formal mentoring or informal guidance, Rose invests in the next generation, sharing knowledge, building confidence, and inspiring ambition.

Her contributions have earned recognition across the games industry, including the Special Recognition Award for Services to the Games Industry;  GI Biz Top 100 Influential Women in Games,   MCV Top 30 Women in Games, London Games Festival Ensemble and the Games Industry’s Top POC in Play. She has served on the BAFTA Games Committee, Vice Chair of BAME in Games, Women Of Xbox Mentor Initiative, a judge for Women in Games, Nairobi Games Jam, Grads In Games & Games Dev Heroes and as a trustee for Into Games, reflecting her commitment to industry development and advocacy.  Internally, RoseMary was awarded the Microsoft Champion Award for exceptional contributions and impact and was nominated for Microsoft Culture Awards for authentic leadership and empowerment. Outside of work, RoseMary channels her creativity into cultural projects and design ventures that celebrate heritage and storytelling.
