Ruth Reid
Ruth Reid is a Criminal Barrister at 3TG Chambers in London, where she has established herself as a formidable advocate with a passion for equality, equity and effective representation.
Understanding the complexities and hurdles that aspiring legal professionals face, Ruth took the initiative to create ‘Cake and Counsel,’ a networking platform designed to foster a sense of community and support among those pursuing legal careers.
Alongside her practice and various voluntary role outside the legal sector, Ruth is also the co-head of the Education team for Urban Lawyers, an Equality and Diversity officer for her chambers, on the Bar Council’s Race Working Group and an advocacy trainer for Sikhs in law; intentionally supporting organisations committed to widening access and equality in the legal field.
